There are a number of arts projects taking place at blueSCI.
Tony and Traceys painting group
The group continues with a new investigation into the surrealist painter Rene Magritte. The group meets on Tuesday mornings 10am-12pm and uses painting and drawing skills to investigate a wide variety of painters.
Dianes art group
Diane volunteers at blueSCI on Tuesday mornings and runs an art group encouraging service users to produce their own art work.
Womens Textile Group
The group meets on wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm. The group is run by volunteers Jo and Julie who help service users to create beautiful items made from all kinds of textiles. The group is for women only as wednesday is women only at blueSCI.
Cafe Crafts
This group is led by volunteers Jo and Julie and aims to make craft items within a very relaxed enviroment and atmosphere.
Watercolours
At blueSCI we now have a watercolour group, meeting on mondays at 10am-12pm. No experience is required but an interest in producing watercolour paintings a must. The aim of the group is to provide service users with a space to enjoy their own painting skills, with support from blueSCI staff and volunteers.
