You can access a range of free accredited and none accredited courses at blueSCI.
blueSCI is a Train to Gain provider with the Learning Skills Council.
We can offer volunteers;
NVQ's in Health and Social Care, Customer Care,
Adult Literacy and Numeracy qualification up to Level 2.

Confidence Building Courses
blueSCI provide Confidence building courses these will provide you with the skills to to face lifes challenges and take up opportunities as they arise.

When I first came to blueSCI I was very low and bereft because my husband had just left me and lost because my son had just gone to university. I did not feel I had a role in life. I was in a singing workshop and performed at the blueSCI Christmas concert, this helped to give me a focus and to be with people who felt as I did. The turning point was the confidence building course, it helped me to look at more things positively and felt more confident. I then started to volunteer at blueSCI, this helped me to feel able to apply for jobs I wouldn’t otherwise apply for and got more interviews. My skills and confidence has increased greatly, I thought I had lost a lot of the skills I once had, but realised I still have them, and more besides.
