Health and Exercise at blueSCI

There are a broad range of opportunities at blueSCI to promote physical well-being. At blueSCI, we recognise that there is a clear link between physical activity and promoting recovery from emotional or psychological distress.

Activities range from football, to working on the community allotment - growing fruit and vegetables. Activities also include gentle walks through the Chorlton and Old Trafford areas, bicycle repairs and rides. Gym equipment is also available, and can be booked through reception.

New for the summer of 2009, we also have our Fun in the Park activity, which also aims to get people outdoors and gently moving around. This is done through simply throwing a frisbee and a ball around in various sporting activities, and through doing teambuilding exercises, aimed at developing your own confidence and communication skills - something useful for the workplace if you are either currently in work, or wish to return to work sometime in the future.

We aim to design, run, and adjust all activities according you your own needs and your own abilities.
