You can’t stop music from being heard, even if it sometimes takes a long time to happen. Abdul Khan came to England in 1963. In his youth, Abdul loved music and singing. A strict father vigorously pointed out Abdul’s responsibilities as the eldest family member and his passion was put on hold for 45 years whilst he raised a family and became everybody’s benevolent benefactor. After returning from Canada, where Abdul briefly tried his hand at running a business, 65 year old Abdul visited his local Arts centre in Manchester and teamed up with musicians to fulfill his dream of recording his songs.
Abdul also plays in his band Abdul Khan and the Projections and you can watch them below.
