Computer Maintenance
- Computer drop in available for a variety of computer maintenance related issues such as viruses removal, upgrading and software installation. For further info ask at reception
History Group
- In house discussion groups and visits to places of historical interest around Manchester. Every Monday 10am – 12pm please sign up at reception.
Feel Good Film Club
- Positive films about overcoming obstacles and adversity, followed by coffee and a chat. Every Thursday 1pm-3.30pm in Seed Vision.
Trafford Stop Smoking
- We will be running weekly one to one stop smoking appointments every Tuesday between 1-3pm, to book an appointment please ring free on 0300 456 2400.
Talking Therapies
- Counselling for people who wish to talk with a counsellor – Please ask at reception
Beginners Cycle Rides
- Guided sessions in the park to learn to ride a bike for the first time, or just to brush up on a few skills – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am
Bicycle Repair Service
- Eric’s Bike Repair Shop – If your bike needs fixing, cleaning or just needs some general maintenance, bring it to the container outside blueSCI.
Every Tuesday 11am – 2pm, and Thursday 11am – 1pm
Cycle Maintenance Workshop
- A series of workshops to learn the basic skills to needed keep your bike running smoothly. Every Thursday 10:30am – 1:30pm
Confidence Building, Maths and English Courses
- TheConfidenceBuildingcourse is open to anyone who would like to gain more confidence in work, relationships or any other area of their lives. Courses require a 6 week commitment.
- Maths and English courses are available for people who would like to work towards formal qualification.
These courses are delivered by Trafford College Community Learning. For more information please ask at reception.
Job Seeking, In Work Support and Benefits Advice
- Help with ‘In Work Support’ or benefits advice is available from our adviser Sarah Bennett on Monday afternoons
- More formal help with job seeking is available from Shaw Trust within their ‘Work Choices’ programme. If you are interested in joining the programme please discuss this with your Disability Living Advisor or with Sarah Bennett.
Work Club
- Support with CV writing, job searching and interview preparation. Every Monday 1-4pm
