Research & Training

Introduction

blueSCI has developed a strategy to address ‘research’ issues in its broadest sense. It aims to be proactive in terms of publications, conferences, presentations, bids, training and evaluation. As well as placing a particular importance on this type of activity for the credibility of the service, it is also considered to be a learning opportunity for any interested persons. The authors and facilitators of this activity are the people associated with blueSCI including students, staff, service users and carers. Elizabeth Collier a lecturer in mental health at Salford University holds a honourary contract with blueSCI to facilitate and support skill development in this area.
