St Michael’s has a good sized Church of England congregation, supporting St Michael’s Primary School, welcoming the attendance of families and elderly people at a range of services and activities in both the main Church building and Church Croft.
The Church also has a Lunch Club at Church Croft for up to 15 elderly and or isolated members of the parish. The meal carries a charge of 4 pounds with a small additional cost to those who require transport. Because this is popular there is a waiting list so please ring to make enquiries.
They also have a Healthy Lifestyle group which start with a warm up followed by mobility, strength and stretching exercises, this is done to music and with humour. No floor exercises are included. They then have a session of relaxation working through the body. There is a cup of tea or coffee afterwards.
There is also an Alzeimer’s drop in for carers and sufferers on the 1st Monday of the month at 2pm.
The Church has an extensive website containing a Diary of events among other things.
