I joined blueSCI to:
- Get back into the routine of work after illness
- Learn new skills and gain new experiences
- Be part of a worthwhile organisation and give something back
- Use the skills from my previous jobs in a new venture

Everyone at blueSCI has been very helpful, students, employees, other volunteers and individuals alike. I actually like getting up in the morning to come here!

Its’ satisfying to contribute to people’s development and people’s learning. It’s good of blueSCI to offer the opportunity of us givers to give something back to the community. It’s also a bonus to get to use the music studio, having other musicians to interact with, open mic nights, and all this is a contribution to the development of performers and artists.

I enjoy volunteering on reception as I get to meet lots of people. It’s a place to meet new friends. I’ve gained so much confidence!

It’s a massive privilege working with all sorts of people here. It brings me happiness when student’s faces are smiling enjoying their lessons. It’s great to volunteer here. Everyone is so friendly and the rewards are beneficial.
